Superbowl 1970: The Beginning Of The End

 

Superbowl 1970 (more commonly known as Super Bowl IV) pitted the Minnesota Vikings and the Kansas City Chiefs.  The game was supposed to be a blowout and it was.  Unfortunately for the Vikings and their fans, the blowout in the 1970 Superbowl did not go the way that was predicted by the odds makers.

 

Superbowl 1970 was the first of the Minnesota Vikings’ four Super Bowl losses.  It also make a cult hero out of Hank Stram.
